Lin Darrow is a Canadian writer of fantasy, noir and sci-fi things, ranging from novels, short stories, comics and poetry. As an award-winning academic with a PhD in Victorian Lit, she also writes on 19th-Century ghost stories and videogames as literature. She has a collection of hyper-niche interests including puppetry, shipwrecks, and old movie musicals.

Lin's debut sci-fi novel about Queer ghosts and capitalism, Dead New World, is forthcoming from Podium Entertainment in November 2026. The Holographic History, a graphic novel with Alex Assan as artist, is forthcoming from HarperAlley. ​​​​​Lin's other publications include the webcomic Shaderunners and the award-nominated short In Search of Absent Pigments. ​​
